Whoosh. That’s what summer feels like. Whoosh. There is about a day left. Holy crap.
We have 16 things left to do, however we did 5 things today.
First off, we saw the movie Brave in theaters and thus, we went to the movies. Brave is an epic tale of finding yourself and finding out that family really matters. But man, I’ve seen the movie twice and I cried both times. It’s definitely not what Pixar has done in the past, but sometimes you have to do something different. I think the movie would have been better if Disney did their drawn animation like their other princess movies and added some Disney magic in to it. And they dedicated it to Steve Jobs–more tears there.
Anyway, Maddy, Alicia, and I were going to go to this delicious Mexican restaurant that’s by the theater, but of course, it was closed. Instead of ordering something in another language, we went to Chipotle and then we got coffee at Caribou Coffee to celebrate the success of our blog. It was some good coffee.
After we enjoyed our coffee, we then decided to make some jewelry and watch the movie Up.Our Disney movie marathon has been a whole summer ordeal. We watched The Princess Diaries: The Royal Engagement on our way to Quincy, Peter Pan when we had an all nighter, Brave and Up today too. We probably watched more, but I can’t remember. A whole summer of Disney movies–wow.
With making jewelry, Alicia and Maddy learned a new way to make bracelets and I tried to be the teacher. I sort of failed as a teacher.
Maddy and Alicia were doing quite well for their very first time making the bracelet. It’s hard. The bracelet consists of many knots and getting into a rhythm. I would try to explain it, but it’s too hard. Sorry guys.
Plus, it’s very time consuming, but when it’s done, well, you have your very own bracelet!
So yeah. Tomorrow, the last day, is going to be a big one. 16 things to do!
Much love and summer fun.
One day left!
